Adding Contents and Folders

Adding Contents

  1. Click Owned by Me from ADx Explorer landing page. All contents and folders owned by the active user are listed.

  2. Drag-and-drop a file into the content area. This will create a new content with the same name as the file. You will see the following notifications:

    • Created Content filename
    • Finished Document Representation

    Your content is now added with Version Status Working Copy and Version Number 1.0. For more information, see Content Versioning.

    Alternatively, you can do as follows:

    1. Click New. CreateContents form opens.

    2. Enter a Name. The name, if entered, replaces the original file name.

    3. Assign a resource for your content.

    4. Click Execute. Your content is now available in Explorer. Your content is now added with Version Status Working Copy and Version Number 1.0.

  3. Select Inital Check-In from Versioning menu at the bottom of the page. Your content is now checked in and can be browsed in WebReader.

Adding Folders

  1. Click Browse from ADx Explorer landing page. All folders owned by the active user are listed.
  2. Click New and select New Folder.
  3. Give a name to your new folder and click Execute. Your folder is created.

Having added your contents, you can do the following:

  • Work with content in WebReader
